Favourite line:"If you don't find a nice girl in Colorado, just remember, there's plenty of mountain sheep."

A Troma released movie, this is actually the brainchild of Trey Parker and Matt Stone, of South Park and Team America notoriety.
The premise is simple: is it possible to make a Western cannibal musical?
Well, yes and no.
The bizarre notion entertains to begin with, and the preposterous nature of both setting and songs is intriguing, but the novelty soon wears off.
The tale is about a small group searching for gold, who get hopelessly lost and eventually wind up eating one another.
Yep, that old chestnut.
And whilst I appreciate some of the macabre humour and the occasional gory moments, the crippling factor for this movie is simply this: the songs aren't very good. A comedy musical needs comedic music set pieces, and this simply fails to deliver, unlike Stone and Parker's aforementioned movies.
A nice idea, and I love the title, but it falls short unfortunately.
