Favourite line:"Choke on 'em!"

Third of Romero's zombie classics, this one focusing more on human interaction than any of the previous instalments.

The plot:
Mankind is all but wiped out. Only small pockets of humanity have survived and the zombies have over-run the surface of the planet.
We follow the events in an underground bunker, where military types and scientists co-exist in an unsettled disharmony. The soldiers just want to kill the undead, whilst the scientists wish to study them to better understand them and, perhaps, to ultimately find a way to pacify the slavering hordes. Only problem is, they need the soldiers to round the rotten beasts up and, each time a soldier dies in the process, tensions are strained even further.
Add into the mix a doctor using dead soldiers as test patients and a tame zombie, and what you have is ninety minutes of pure zombie heaven.
"Choke on 'em" is one of the best moments in horror, and this is an all round winner.
Genius.
