Yep, it's the one without Michael Myers.
Much maligned, and unfairly, the biggest mistake that was made here was connecting it in any way with the Halloween series, though I understand the financial reasons for doing so.

The ever reliable Tom Atkins stars as a doctor drawn into a sinister conspiracy to wipe out most of the children in America and, mysteriously, he seems opposed to the idea.
A headstone from Stonehenge has disappeared without trace, leaving the British police baffled. At the same time, a company called Silver Shamrock have produced a range of masks which come in three designs - witch, skelton and Jack O'Lantern - and each has the company logo badge on the back of the head. Unbeknownst to the purchasing public the badges contain a small particle of the Stonehenge rock, which is infused with magical energy. When activated by means of an audio-visual cue from a TV commercial for a Silver Shamrock prize giveaway, the badge activates and the dark energy is released, effectively melting the head of the wearer and spawning all manner of insects and snakes and other slithery slimy things.

All very silly, but very entertaining nevertheless. and that about sums the movie up. Silly but entertaining.
John Carpenter is still on board at this stage in the guise of producer, and he also provides the music, which definitely adds a chill factor to proceedings.
All in all, good, lightweight American horror, the way they used to make 'em.
