Favourite line:"Why Melvin you're beautiful. You're a beautiful person. You're so muscular. It's been two years since I've touched a man."

Melvin Junko is a geek.
He works in a swimming pool as a janitor / cleaner type bod, and is brutally bullied by both customers and staff alike, especially the females who he yearns for but doesn't know how to speak to - I don't blame him in truth. The vacuous bints in this movie would be very difficult to strike up a conversation with!
Anyway, through a breathtakingly contrived MacGuffin, he ends up dumped in a vat of toxic waste, and mutates into that fighter for justice and peace, The Toxic Avenger, cleaning up the streets of Tromaville.

Hilarious, gory, and just plain sick in places, this is B movie heaven.
Rated as the best of the Troma movies - and it's easy to see why - this is just superb low budget horror.
Excellent.
