Tagline:Miyazaki's epic masterpiece
Favourite line:N/A - Subtitled

One of Miyazaki's earier full length anime's, this is a cautionary tale about the power of technology, and the damage that can be caused if we don’t understand nature.

A young girl called Princess Nausicaa must battle to prevent two rival factions from unleashing a nuclear holcaust and ultimately destroying their world.

As usual with Miyazaki, the imagination at work is simply awesome and, though the animation is less sophisticated than his later works, this is still sumptuous and gorgeous.
Thought provoking, very beautiful and thoroughly engaging, Miyazaki does it again.
