Superlative epic gangster movie.
Family honour, domestic violence, moments of calm followed by dramatic and sudden bursts of brutal violence, stunning performances from all the main players and a superb soundtrack (apart from the dodgy singer.)
The plot is too convoluted to go into without writing an essay, but don't worry, it's well worth investing the time.
This simmers slowly to an unforgettable climax with long, drawn out scenes building the tension to breaking point.
Truly magnificent.
