Favourite line:"Grandfather always said you were a loser. Now you're trying to make me one and I hate you for it"

Sly is on top form here in this entertainingly cheesy 80's feel good movie.

He's a trucker who is trying to get to know his estranged son, who resents him for leaving himself and his mother several years earlier.
Luckily, Sly has a perfect antitode to the antipathy - he has a big red truck and also makes a few bucks arm wrestling bear-like men.
He's ultimate aim is to become the world arm-wrestling champion.
Well, we all want that, surely?

There's a few scrapes along the way involving his father-in-law, but this is all secondary to the relationship between Sly and the moaning spawn, and the beefcakes he has to compete again.
Not great, but far from awful, this has all the ingredients you would expect: hokey emoting, woeful 80's rock soundtrack, and more testosterone than you can shake an elephant's testicle at.
Good fun.
