Favourite line:"Do you see the tourists with their video cameras, hoping the cops will shoot you so they can sell the tape to Goriest Police Shoot-outs?"

Excellent thriller, written by none other than horror legend Larry Cohen, though this is most definitely not a horror movie.

Colin Farrell plays a self obsessed, shallow PR type person, whose whole world revolves around money and self-gratification, with no interest in the feelings or sensibilities of others.
One day, he answers a random public phone that is ringing as he wanders past. Upon taking the call, he is informed that if he hangs up, or moves an inch, he will be shot. Inevitably, he thinks it is a hoaxer, that is until he notices the red laser beam from a sniper rifles scope.
Helpless, and totally at the snipers mercy, he must face the truths about his own narcissistic existence.

Wonderfully played, tense as a porn stars banjo string, this is a top notch thriller.
