Year:1967
Country of origin:UK
Director:Lewis Gilbert
Genre:Bond
Starring:Sean Connery, Akiko Wakabayashi, Mie Hama
Rating:4/5
IMDB link:http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062512/
Tagline:Welcome to Japan, Mr. Bond
Favourite line:James Bond: "Well, if I'm gonna be forced to watch television, may I smoke?" Blofeld: "Yes. Give him his cigarettes. It won't be the nicotine that kills you, Mr. Bond."

With the biggest budget up to this point for a Bond movie (this is number 5) this also boasts the most impressive sets and set-pieces of the first clutch.

The plot:
strategically important and manned space vessels of the West are vanishing, swallowed up by a larger vessel believed to belong to Russia. The British Secret Service, however, believes that SPECTRE is behind it, and is attempting to provoke World War III.

Sumptuous locations, a superb underground base in the heart of a volcano, and a stunning finale make this an excellent addition to the franchise, and the last Connery movie worth watching.
Good Bond.
